Fortunately, you don’t need a new car. Paint correction can help revitalize the aesthetics of the car you love.
Paint correction removes imperfections on the paint’s surface. It usually takes between 6-12 hours to complete (but can take longer), and can be conducted in a number of ways. Carr Tech Automotive offers both 1 step paint correction and RestorFX to get your vehicle’s surface shining again.

Why Paint Correction? What does it do?
Does this scenario ring a bell? You just spent an hour hand washing your car – using the most expensive car shampoo, soft microfiber, and air drying the ride. You step back to enjoy that shiny paint finish and notice what looks like tiny spider webs in your car’s paint. Instantly a look of frustration appears on your face – as you realize paint correction or polishing your ride is the only solution.
Paint correction is the process of leveling (removing) imperfections on the surface of the paint. This can include a variety of issues and causes like water spots, paint over spray, wash scratches, wipe down marks, bird dropping surface stains, oxidation, and buffer holograms. This can involve a significant amount of time, but 6-12 hours is typical of most vehicles.
When Do I Need Paint Correction?
The second a car is built, it’s possible for it to sustain damage. Driving, sitting in a parking lot, and even washing and drying a car leaves it vulnerable to scratches, scuffs, stains from animal droppings, oxidation, and more. All of this wears on the paint and finish of your vehicle.
Deciding to participate in a paint correction service is completely up to you. Some people can tolerate a number of imperfections on their vehicle’s surface while others are bothered by minimal wear and tear. You may decide to correct your car’s paint before selling it to increase its value, or to keep it looking like new for your personal use.
We always recommend paint correction before getting a ceramic coating.

We do not recommend getting a ceramic coating from anywhere without a Paint correction to remove swirls, blemishes, or scratches on the paintwork.

I finally decided to stop in and get an idea about what it might cost to get some dings & dents repaired. Kevin showed me what they could fix based on the size of the dented area. He kept track of the area of the dents & we went back in the office where he gave a fair estimate of his repair costs. They looked at the calendar and they could get to it in a little over a week.
